Our Process for Replacing a Glass Pane

As experienced glass and glazing professionals, we will come to inspect the glass and frame before measuring the misted, condensated or broken pane. For breakages, if the damage is potentially dangerous or air is coming through, we’ll board up the window.

During this visit, we’ll answer any questions that you may have and provide a quote. With energy efficiency a priority for most homeowners, we aim to match, or even upgrade, the energy rating on your existing glazing. Obscure glass panes will also be matched. Older obscure patterns may have been discontinued.

If you use us as your glazing specialist, we’ll agree on an installation date for fitting the replacement window. The original pane will remain in place while the new sealed unit is manufactured. We’ll come to install on the agreed date, working efficiently and tidying up before we leave.
